HBAGKC in the Community
Every year members of the HBAGKC, in conjunction with the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA), sponsor a local primarily Hispanic community group for the holidays. For the past several years, HBAGKC members have volunteered their time and efforts to provide holiday gifts to children at the El Centro Academy for Children in Kansas City, Kansas. In collaboration with KCMBA, members of the HBAGKC have obtained the gifts for the children and distributed them - with the help of one of its own members - Santa.
