Gabriel Zorogastua is an associate in Polsinelli Shughart's business litigation group. His practice is divided equally between plaintiff and defense litigation, and he routinely advises clients on various antitrust compliance matters.
Mr. Zorogastua has served clients in various industries by representing them in state and federal antitrust litigation involving a national price-fixing conspiracy. He has successfully represented clients in contract, business tort, and product liability disputes and has handled various electronic discovery issues before and during litigation. He also has assisted in a corporate internal investigation and routinely advises a nonprofit entity on various formation issues.
His pro bono practice includes helping homeless veterans with various criminal and traffic issues, assisting a family in a dispute under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, and representing an indigent prisoner in a civil rights matter. He is a frequent speaker on diversity matters at local law schools and for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. This year, he serves as the president of the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City and as a board member of Castro Movie Nights and the Good Samaritan Project, two local non-profit organization that focus on HIV/AIDS prevention work in Kansas City.

Alejandro J. Solorio is a partner in the law firm of Solorio & Avila, Law Firm LLC Mr. Solorio is a 1999 graduate of Washburn University School of Law. Mr. Solorio was formerly an associate attorney for the McCrummen Immigration Law Group, and a staff attorney with California Rural Legal Assistance, where he provided legal counseling for migrant farm-workers in the California Central Valley. He interned with the Advocates for Basic Legal Equality-Migrant Farm-worker Project, the Kansas Advisory Committee on Hispanic Affairs, as well as with the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund in San Francisco, California. He is the Past President for the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Bar Association and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Ashley Atwell is an associate in the business litigation department of Lathrop & Gage. She represents clients in litigated and non-litigated business-to-business disputes such as breach of contract matters, loan enforcement actions, construction matters, insurance disputes, regulatory matters, business torts and professional liability matters.
Ms. Atwell served as a law clerk for the Honorable Dean Whipple in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Atwell served as Press Secretary for United States Congressman Silvestre Reyes and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
Ms. Atwell is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
